About Jeff Green's Soundings and Maxmedia
Jeff Green recorded his first full sound production at twelve, his first broadcast series at sixteen. His oldest play in the series ("Epiphanies") was produced with the assistance of a Canada Council Explorations grant in 1980.

After a period of time devoted to commercial radio production and live video mixing Jeff returned fulltime to radio drama with the rest of this series, beginning with "Spaxter" in 1986, and followed over the next four years by "The Tuning", "Flash",
"Somebody Talking To You", "She Dreams of Atlantis", "Xmas Is Coming To The District of Drudge", and the trio of horror stories that were heard under the title Weird Words: "Vigilante", "Psychotherapy", and "Plague".  All productions in his collection were written, produced, and directed by Jeff Green. The music was written, performed and engineered by Charles Fairfield. All plays were recorded
and engineered by Jeff Green in the studios of CHEZ 106, Ottawa, with the exception of "Epiphanies" engineered by Charles Fairfield in Passeport Studios, Hull, Quebec. "Xmas Is Coming To The District of Drudge" and "Plague" won Ottawa ACTRA awards for Best Radio Program of the Year in 1988 and '89 respectively. A set of the plays as broadcast on America's National Public Radio Network received a silver medal in the drama category at the 1990 New York International Radio Festival. Plays from the series have also been heard on Canada's CBC, Britain's LBC, and Australia's ABC networks. All contents copyright (1980, '86, '87, '88, '89, '90) Jeff Green.

Awards and Accolades
The original Spaxter show, was the proud recipient of a MARK TIME Award, presented by the American Society for Science Fiction Audio, and now humbly shares a space in the Hall of Fame alongside legendary works by David Ossman, Norman Corwin, Firesign Theatre, Douglas Adams ("The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy") and even the Orson Welles production of "The War of the Worlds"! Jeff sends many thanks to David Ossman, Jerry Stearns, Richard Fish, and all the ASFSFA members for this profound honor!
