ARGENTINA 1806
In the month of June, in the year 1806,
the city of Buenos Aires was attacked seemingly without warning
by the British fleet off the coast of Argentina. Several days
later the town’s inhabitants watched as the British
soldiers took possession of their city. Over the next few
months a small group of loyal patriots devised a plan to take
back the town.
