Twist: The Musical
TWIST:
THE ROCK MUSICAL, written by Johnathon Hoskins and Wain Routledge,
is a modern adaptation of the classic novel, "Oliver Twist,"
by Charles Dickens. It takes place 20 years into a possible future,
when 16-year-old Emily Twist runs away from the orphanage to search
for the mother who abandoned her so many years before. Many of
the familiar characters from Dickens' story appear in new guises
in this modern rock musical. Original production presented by
the Young Actors Performance Troupe of Toronto. |
